Brief History of Music

Nowadays, music is present in almost all religions, different social groups and culture around the world. However, for years, it was the human being who investigated and studied its origin in evolution, in order to understand the process for the the music that we have today. That study is called "History of Music" and to date, information about it is still collected. According to archaeologists, its history dates back thousands of years, in the early ages of humanity. Experts assured that around 60,000 b. C. at the same time art was created, sounds began to be generated".
It is believed that the first way humans created music was with their voice. They also used to clap and hit objects to get a rhythm. This was called “Prehistoric Music”, and it took place in Africa by the first men on earth. Many years later, music evolved and gave rise to the "Ancient Era". It was this time that stood out for having a record of the oldest song ever written. This track was part of a collection called “Hurry Songs”, all engraved in Cuneiform, one of the oldest writing systems in history. Further, the harp, flute, lyre and clarinet were invented.
It was the Roman’s civilization the first to perform concerts and competitions with guitars and trumpets, since such instruments already existed. Sometime later, with the Roman Catholic Church, "Medieval Music" was born. In this period, the first school of music in Europe was built. Such event allowed the emergence of the “Classical Music” era, which began approximately in 1720 and ended in 1820. It was a group of artists who starred in this period: Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert.Finally music reached the 20th century. It was the technology, that allowed tracks to be transmitted through the radio, higher quality and innovative musical instruments got improved, new music styles were invented and the music industry arose. Knowing the history of music is very interesting and studying it in depth is undoubtedly a time-consuming task, since it's actually extensive . However, there are ways to summarize it, such as the previous one, which gives you a very interesting point of viewand worth reading.
